Somethin’ Else are the official radio partner to The BRIT Awards 2010 with MasterCard and have been since 2002. With an ever broadening brief which includes the production of the British Single vote across the commercial radio network as well as providing the syndication for all stations backstage live on the night. The coordination of this alone is a fulltime job but under the superb leadership of Sam Cocker (Head of Commercial Projects) and her team, The BRITs have always been reassured of the quality of service for stations who sign up for the Somethin’ Else syndicated programming of the event.  Rob Poland (Syndication Manager) is usually the complete other side of the building (physically when in Earls Court) but manages to extend the BRITs radio message to over 100 countries across the globe. Rob always takes great delight on Somethin’ Elses’ ability to break down other territories to spread the BRITs ‘lurve’. When he comes to a Contractors meeting and says he’s broken through Estonia, China or Armenia where people would not imagine they’d want to hear BRITs programming – we know that world domination is only a thumb nail away.  New to the family is Claire Neal [Producer] who agreed to oversee our official brits.co.uk filming this year. Since the summer, Claire has been commandeering any celebrity that has crossed her path in her quest to get as much unique footage for this new site. Please tune in to the video section to see some unique interview footage.  For further information, please go to www.somethinelse.com
