About Eminem

The seventh studio album from the superstar artist, Recovery debuted at number one on US Billboard and UK weekly charts. It was nominated for nine awards at this year’s Billboards, winning three; Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Rap Album and Top Rap Song for Love The Way You Lie. Eminem had 16 nominations in total and took home six awards, including Top Artist 2011.

The 13 times Grammy Award winner is no stranger to breaking records. In March, he became the first rapper to have two diamond (over 10million sales) albums as both The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mathers LP were certified diamond and in early July, he became the first artist to sell over one million downloads of an album in the US with Recovery. He is the most followed on Facebook with over 40million ‘likes’, beating Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Michael Jackson.

The sought-after rapper features on I Need a Doctor, the second single from Dr Dre’s Detox and in 2010, Eminem started collaborating once again with Royce da 5'9" as hip hop duo Bad Meets Evil. Their EP, entitled Hell: The Sequel, was released in June 2011 and landed a number one in the US, marking the first time in the last five years that an artist has scored two No. 1 albums within a 12-month period.
