Lancastrian pint sized pop princess Little Boots released her much anticipated debut long player Hands in 2009 featuring the singles “Stuck on Repeat” , “New In Town” and the top 5 summer anthem ‘’Remedy’’.
Little Boots, known to her family and friends as Victoria Hesketh, was without question the most talked-about new UK pop star of 2009. She was named one of NME’s Best New Artists of the year, was runner up in the BRIT’s Critic’s Choice Award and topped the BBC’s distinguished “Sound of 2009” poll.
In the short space of 12 months she has completed 2 sold out tours of the UK and one in the US. There have been live dates in Japan, Australia and throughout Europe and no less than 33 summer festival appearances – all with their own costume themes to boot (‘scuse the pun).
It’s been a busy year and 2010 looks set to be no different kicking off with another US tour before the launch of her album stateside in March. For Little Boots own take on her whirlwind adventures read her blog here
