The BRITs Official Watch
Luxury Swiss watchmaker, RAYMOND WEIL becomes ‘poptastic’ and cements its long standing relationship with The BRIT Awards and The BRIT Trust. RAYMOND WEIL is thrilled to be Official Watch to the most glamorous music awards event of the year – The BRIT Awards 2008 in association with MasterCard.
On this occasion, the luxury Brand has manufactured a special, limited edition of its famous freelancer watch. Tonight, a unique designed diamond encrusted timepiece will be given to each of the presenters and performers of this year’s show.
The stunning and sophisticated watch features a round case with a pave diamond bezel on a gorgeous chocolate brown alligator strap. The unisex timepiece boasts a cut out on the matching chocolate dial and shows the mechanism of the Swiss movement itself with a visible balance wheel. The reverse of the watch features The BRIT Awards logo embossed onto a sapphire crystal glass also showing the movement. The Geneva watchmaker has enjoyed a long-term association with the music world. This exciting new partnership with The BRIT Awards 2008 consolidates RAYMOND WEIL’s relationship with the music industry.
As well as supporting The BRIT Awards, RAYMOND WEIL has collaborated with UK artists, Craig David (2005), Jay Kay (2006), Lemar (2007) who were invited to design their own watch, for auction at the Silver Clef Lunch. Each celebrity’s design has reflected their flair and personal style.
RAYMOND WEIL is immensely proud to be involved in The BRIT Awards 2008 and looks forward to an ongoing partnership with The BRIT Awards as Official Watch and raising money for The BRIT Trust whose mission is to support young people in music and education.
