The BRIT Awards with MasterCard UK are happy to announce that this year, fans can vote for their favourite artist in the British Breakthrough category. Voting will open February 9  and run until February 15.

The British Breakthrough category is a landmark award which marks the brightest up and comers in the music industry. Past nominees in the category have included, Emeli Sande, Jessie J, Mumford and Sons and Elli Goulding, who have all gone on to achieve worldwide success. 

We've had a few changes this year, including the addition of some brand new Awards and this year the winner of the British Single will be chosen by the BRIT Awards Voting Academy which now includes past BRIT Award winners and nominated artists. The British Breakthrough Act will be a public vote, so please visit www.brits.co.uk/voting on the 9^th February to vote.
