Catfish and the Bottlemen win British Breakthrough Act

Catfish and the Bottlemen have won their first BRIT Award for British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards 2016.

The winner of the British Breakthrough Act is voted for by the public and promoted by BBC Radio 1.

The Welsh rockers beat James Bay, Jess Glynne, Wolf Alice, and Years and Years to the prize.

Catfish and the Bottlemen saw their debut album The Balcony rise to Number 10 in the UK Albums Chart.
