Coldplay win British Group
Seasoned BRITs veterans and 2016 show openers, Coldplay, have won the trophy for British Group for the fourth time at the BRIT Awards 2016.The band beat fellow nominees: Blur, Foals, One Direction and Years & Years.
Over the years, Coldplay, have acquired eight BRIT awards out of a stellar 21 nominations.
In December 2015 they released their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, debuting at No. 2 on the UK Albums chart.
Coldplay will also be performing at the BRITs 2016.
