Flood (Mark Ellis) and Alan Moulder, Ethan Johns and last year’s winner, Paul Epworth, have all been nominated for UK Producer of the Year at the Music Producers Guild 2014 Awards.

The winner of the category will be announced on February 13, 2014, at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London and whoever comes out on top will also by awarded with a BRIT Award for Best Producer.

MPG Chairman Steve Levine said: "An MPG Award is highly sought-after by recording professionals because it represents an endorsement by your peers. Whilst anyone can nominate, only full members of the MPG are allowed to vote for the shortlist and therefore the results are relevant to the creative value of our industry.

“Those who win an MPG Award are known to be at the top of their game as a recording professional.”
