Taylor Swift wins International Female Solo Artist at The BRIT Awards 2015
Taylor Swift has won International Female Solo Artist at the The BRIT Awards 2015.
Swift triumphed over tough competition from Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Sia, and St. Vincent.
This is Swift’s first BRIT Award, after being nominated in 2010 for International Breakthrough Act and in 2013 for International Female Solo Artist.
Last year saw the release of her fifth album ‘1989’, which sold more copies in its opening week than any other album in the past 12 years.
Taylor Swift also performed hit single ‘Blank Space’ live at this year’s BRIT Awards. She performed ‘Trouble’ at the BRIT Awards in 2013.
