STAR STUDDED GUEST PRESENTERS UNVEILED FOR BRITs 2008

SHARON & OZZY’S OUTRAGEOUS BRITs STAGE REVEALED

BRITs organisers The BPI have unveiled a stellar line up of guest celebrities queuing up to present awards at The BRITs 2008 with MasterCard as well as revealing secret plans for the Osbourne’s extravagant stage set for the show at Earls Court on 20th February 2008.

Guest presenters include sexy RnB siren Kelly Rowland, Britain’s very own Dr Who, David Tennant, Lord of the Rings star and national treasure Ian McKellan. Our very own Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan return from the States and top indie band Gossip front woman Beth Ditto will also attend the bash to give out a gong, as well as the ‘Saviour of Radio 1’ Chris Moyles, funny man Alan Carr, and the inimitable James Nesbitt. Vic Reeves, Denise Van Outen and Will Young will also be on hand. Take That are also confirmed to attend this year’s BRIT Awards.

There will be two stages at this years BRITs, Glam Vs Punk. The Glam stage’s decadent set up will feature sumptuous gold drapes and a curtain of shimmering lights, whilst the chaotic Punk stage will be adorned with a ripped Union Jack. In the midst of the two stages Sharon and Ozzy have created their own residence, part Adams Family Mansion – part Beckingham Palace. Rock’s Royal couple will be residing on thrones; surrounded by two twelve foot spinx-esque dogs and towered over by a huge totem pole adorned with a skull and gigantic bat. Ever the exhibitionists expect an awesome entrance by the King and Queen of Rock to kick start the best music award show of the year.

The BRITs 2008 with MasterCard hosted by Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne takes place on 20th February 2008 at London’s Earls Court and will be broadcast live from 8pm on ITV1.

Over on ITV2 Lauren Laverne, Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths will be meeting and greeting the stars for The Red Carpet Show at 7pm and finding out all of the backstage gossip on The BRITs Encore show at 10pm both on ITV2.
