Mabel, who was Shortlisted for the BRITs Critics' Choice Award in 2018, is up for three awards this year - Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Female Solo Artist. She'll face tough competition from BRIT school graduate and
Mahalia is also nominated in this category, having had a successful year following her place on the 2019 Critics' Choice Award shortlist, including collaborations with Burna Boy and Ella Mai. FKA Twigs sees herself nominated for her third BRIT Award, having received two nods in 2015.
Charli XCX rounds up this year's Female Solo Artist category. She has thrived this year with a number of collaborative tracks, featuring artists including Troye Sivan, Lizzo and Christine and the Queens.
