Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' feat. Bruno Mars wins British Single at The BRIT Awards 2015

Mark Ronson’s chart-topping ‘Uptown Funk', featuring Bruno Mars, has won British Single at The BRIT Awards 2015.

The song debuted at No. 1 in the UK with first-week chart sales of 118,000 and gave Ronson his first UK No. 1.

Released as the lead single from Mark Ronson’s fourth studio album, ‘Uptown Special’, the song has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, and topped the charts in several other countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, France, New Zealand and the United States.

‘Uptown Funk’ holds the title of the most streamed track in a single week in the UK, with 2.56 million plays in one week.

Fellow nominees in the British Single category were: Calvin Harris - Summer; Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne - ‘Rather Be’; Duke Dumont ft.
