BRIT Class Act Award

As part of 30th Anniversary celebrations we are delighted to announce a brand new award category - the BRIT Class Act Award.

If you're at school or 6th form college and aged under 19 then you could be walking away with this coveted award at next year's show!

This competition is the first of its kind, if you think you've got the talent then this could be just the recognition you need to kick start your music career.

The competition itself doesn't kick off till September but we have opened up the website now so that any students who think they've got what it takes can start learning, practising and uploading their best tracks and be ready to enter their ultimate track into the BRIT Class Act competition which will open with an Official Schools' chart.

Throughout the year the Class Act website is going to bring students and fans closer to the music industry by providing them with all the information they could need from recording tracks to writing lyrics and putting on gigs. Class Act will also be speaking to some of the key players in the music industry so that anyone who is interested in the management or the A&R side of the industry can also get involved.

And of course, to keep everyone excited and engaged we're also going to be offering the chance to win some amazing prizes along the way. To kick start Class Act and get the ball rolling we're giving away 10 pairs of tickets to this year's BRIT Awards at Earl's Court. What better way to gain inspiration for writing that winning track?
