Ellie Goulding, La Roux and Pixie Lott Perform At The BRITs Nominations Launch

UK record labels’ body, the BPI, today announced that BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Ellie Goulding together with Pixie Lott and La Roux will perform at the BRITs Nominations Launch at The IndigO2 on Monday 18 January. The event will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and will be attended by guests including JLS, Chris Moyles, Gabrielle Cilmi and many more.

One of the most anticipated nights of 2010, the Nominations Launch will unveil which candidates will be battling it out in each category for the coveted BRIT trophies. As well as the live performances, all the reactions from newly nominated artists, gossip and comment from backstage can be seen on ITV2 at 8pm that evening.

BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Ellie Goulding is currently recording her debut album due to be released in March 2010 through Polydor Records with her next single ‘Starry-eyed’ released on 22 February. She will take to the BRITs Nominations Launch stage along side electro’s leading lady LA Roux whose singles ‘In For the Kill” and "Bulletproof" reached number two and number one in the UK charts respectively. Joining them on the night will be mama’s girl Pixie Lott who has had two successive number 1 hits and was the recipient of the recent MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 Best UK & Ireland Act. 

Radio 1 Chart Show DJ Fearne Cotton will be leading proceedings as she hosts The BRIT Awards Nominations Launch Party. Fearne will be announcing the eagerly anticipated nominations to a star studded audience of critics, tastemakers and artists at the IndigO2 as well as millions of viewers at home.

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, the BRIT Awards 2010 with MasterCard is shaping up to one of the most exciting shows yet. Already confirmed is, Robbie Williams - recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award who is expected to bring the show to a stunning close at Earls Court on Tuesday 16 February.
