The first acts for BRITs 2011 Announced and the Voting Begins

Today brings a very exciting announcement for The BRITs 2011 as the first acts due to perform are announced. On the night, between those much talked about Vivienne Westwood trophies being dished out to their deserving recipients, the crowd and viewers alike will be entertained by some of the world's greatest music artists. If we are thinking big, then they don't come much bigger than this first act to be announced; Take That - Britain's biggest and best love band, who are set to add to their already rich history with the BRITs. Also set to takeover the stage is a name who has been on everyone's lips this year and whose hits have dominated the airwaves - Plan B. As the BRIT Awards 2011 start coming to life we all very much look forward to who else will be taking to the stage for what is set to be the most memorable BRIT Awards yet.

These exciting developments are announced on what is Official Voting Day for all of those invited members of the Voting Academy across the breadth of the music industry (and this year for the first time giving artists themselves the chance to vote). So as you read this, those last members who have yet to make their decisions should be casting their votes and sealing the fate of some of the greatest names in music.
