BME announces 2012 BRIT Awards exhibition

The BRIT Awards with MasterCard's Outstanding Contribution to Music award is set for its own tribute this year, with an exhibition at The British Music Experience inside London's O2. 'The BRIT Awards Exhibition 2012: The History of the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award' will open on 9 February 2012.

Featuring galleries of the biggest and best artists of the BRIT Awards history to have collected the prestigious award. The exhibition is free to any BRITs 2012 ticket holder, so if you're in town for this year's event, a trip to the BME will make for a complete BRIT Awards experience.

Primarily a photographic exhibition, the exhibition will also include a 6ft Peter Blake BRIT statue and a 6ft silver BRIT Award which will be existed alongside last year's Vivienne Westwood statue. Music from the Outstanding Contribution disc of this year's BRIT Awards compilation album will be played inside the exhibition.

The exhibition runs from 9 February 2012 - 9 March 2012 and can be seen in The British Music Experience at the O2 in South London.
