Emeli Sande and Ed Sheeran to perform at BRITs Nominations Launch

Critics Choice winner Emeli Sande and one of the biggest new chart acts of 2011, Ed Sheeran, have been announced as performers at the BRIT Awards with MasterCard Nomination Launch.

The event will take place at The Savoy Hotel on Thursday 12 January 2012, where the nominations for this years BRITs will be announced. The performances from Emeli Sande and Ed Sheeran will be available to watch exclusively on www.brits.co.uk shortly after the launch party. The event will be hosted by Greg James with and introduction from BRITs show host, James Corden.

Also appearing at the event will be last year's Critics' Choice winner Jessie J, who will present Emeli Sande with the coveted award.

The nominations announcements will be made in front of a specially invited audience, but if you're not on the guest list - fear not! The BRIT Awards 2012 with Mastercard will be held on Tuesday 21st February at The 02 and will be exclusively broadcast live on ITV1.
