'I want to be sat with my friends at The BRITs!'

Pixie Lott has proven that her chart-topping pop career hasn't left her head in the clouds, revealing she would rather be sat with friends than her fellow popstars at The 2012 BRIT Awards with MasterCard.

Speaking exclusively to The BRITs, the British Single nominee told us she wanted to spend the 21 February event with her pals - and especially those who hadn't previously experienced The BRIT Awards.

"I'd like to be sat with my best friends so i'd get to share the experience with someone who hadn't been to an award show like that before," Pixie told us. "That would be really good fun."

However, Pixie did also admit that she wouldn't complain too much if she happened to be sat with the likes of Adele, Coldplay - or many more of this year's BRITs nominees.

"This year i'd like to meet Adele - i'm a massive fan and i'd love to be sat with her," Pixie added. "I love Coldplay, I love Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, David Guetta, Jay-Z, Kanye West - there's loads of amazing people up for awards! So I wouldn't mind being on any of these people's tables."

Pixie was previously nominated at the 2012 BRIT Awards, picking up nods for British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British Single. She picks up a nomination in 2012 for British Single for her No.1 hit, 'All About Tonight'.
