Noel Gallagher named NME 'Godlike Genius'
2012 Already something of a god to legions of Oasis fans, British Male nominee Noel Gallagher was today named as the 2012 recipient of the NME's Godlike Genius award. "I have dreamt of this moment since I was 43 years old," said a typically modest Gallagher. "I accept that I am now a genius, just like God."

Lana Del Rey performs live on BBC 6 Music
After an undeserved critical mauling of her debut on US television recently, International Breakthrough nominee Lana Del Rey this week recorded a stunning live session for BBC 6 Music. She performed debut hit 'Video Games', new single 'Born To Die' and chatted about her musical inspirations with host Huey Morgan.

Maverick Sabre premieres new 'No One' video
Following his first two Top Twenty singles 'Let Me Go' and 'I Need', Critics' Choice runner-up Maverick Sabre today premiered his latest video, 'No One'. An urban-edged soul ballad, the video sees the young Hackney-born star take to the stage in a seedy strip club. Very risque!

Emeli Sande reveals secret dinner with Jessie and Ed
After the BRITs 2012 nominations launch finished earlier this month, the brits.co.uk spent a long night editing and uploading photos and videos of this year's event. But it seems other guests had a more enjoyable evening.
