Vote on your mobile with the BRIT Awards app

The BRIT Awards with MasterCard are going mobile in 2012 with a phone app that will allow music fans to vote for this year's awards.

Visit www.iTunes.com/Brits to download the app - and vote - now.

Produced by digital development company Noise Inc. and in association with MasterCard, the app will launch on the 12 January 2012 - the same day this year's BRITs nominees are announced. The iPhone app will be free to download and will allow fans to cast votes for the British Single, British Group and British Breakthrough categories as well as deliver news and competitions from The BRITs 2012. You will also be able to download live tracks from the February event through the app after the awards ceremony.

"The BRIT Awards with MasterCard is delighted to be able to launch its first ever App," said Maggie Crowe, the BRITs Event Director. "We want to keep in touch with our fans through their iPhones, with apps, and Noise Inc. has helped us make it possible for them to connect directly with The BRITs to vote and keep up to date with all our latest news."

So not only can you now vote for the BRIT Awards right here on brits.co.uk, you can now do so from your mobile phone.
