2013 is shaping up to be a monstrous summer for music in the UK. In the past two weeks alone, we’ve seen new album releases from Disclosure, Queens of the Stone Age, Kanye West and Kodaline – all headed to be summer anthems across the country. Not to mention, the long awaited debut album from 2013 Critics’ Choice winner Tom Odells ‘Long Way Down’ to be released next week. 2013 BRITs performer Justin Timberlake continues to win over the hearts and ears of audiences around the world with the 20/20 Experience, with his artwork for new single “Tunnel Vision” showcasing the silhouette of a woman’s body leaving everyone swooning.

Meanwhile, the legends that are Pink Floyd have embraced streaming at last – with a twist. The band announced via Twitter this week that “Wish You Were Here’ is now available on Spotify, but that their entire catalogue would be released after the track hit 1 million streams on the service. Well, needless to say, fans united to make that happen in only 2 days, meaning the 38-year old track might even make an impact in next week’s Official Streaming Chart.
