MasterCard British Album of the Year awarded to Arctic Monkeys’ ‘AM’

Arctic Monkeys have picked up the biggest Award of the BRITs 2014 with AM being named MasterCard British Album of the Year.

It’s the third time the Sheffield band have won the prize, seeing off strong competition from four fellow No. 1 albums by Bastille, David Bowie, Disclosure and Rudimental.

AM
is their fifth studio album, selling 500,000 copies in the UK last year and it spent 16 weeks in the Top 40.

Download their performance of 'R U Mine' form the BRITs 2014 on iTunes. All proceeds go to War Child.
