Google Play: official download and music streaming partner

Google Play has today been announced as the official download and music streaming partner to The BRIT Awards 2015 with MasterCard. Viewers of the awards show will be able to download and stream the audio of the live performances that have been a hallmark of the BRITs for many years in Google Play’s most ambitious project since its UK launch in November 2011.

The audio performances from The BRIT Awards 2015 will be available to fans by visiting the Google Play store shortly following the end of the show.
 
With Google Play the only music service to offer both download and streaming options, music fans - online, on Android and iOS phones and tablets - have never had a greater choice on how they enjoy the best music of the past year.

As part of the collaboration, Google Play Music will also share the official media partner status of the Single of the Year award with Capital FM.
