Little Mix added to BRITs line-up

Little Mix have today (14 January) been confirmed to perform at the BRITs 2016. It will be the all conquering pop group’s first ever performance at the ceremony.

It’s been a phenomenal few months for the quartet. Their third album, ‘Get Weird’, went to No. 2 in the UK charts in November with lead single ‘Black Magic’ earning them their third UK No. 1. To date, the video for ‘Black Magic’ has had over 131 million views. 

The group join Adele, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Jess Glynne, James Bay and The Weeknd on the line-up for 2016’s event. All of the nominees will be announced today at 6pm.

The BRIT Awards 2016 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday 24 February 2016 at London’s O2 Arena and will be broadcast live on ITV.  Ant & Dec will return as hosts.

Google Play Music is the official streaming and download partner for the BRITs 2016.  Live performances from the night will be available to stream and download from Google Play just after the awards, with all proceeds being donated to this year’s official charity partners, Nordoff Robbins and The BRIT Trust.
