Jungle & Rema confirmed to perform at The BRITs 2024

The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard today announce that the critically-acclaimed group Jungle and Nigerian Afrowave superstar Rema are confirmed to perform at this year’s show, which takes place Saturday 2nd March at The O2 arena, London, broadcast exclusively from 8.30pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.

Both acts receive debut BRIT nominations this year: Jungle are nominated for Group of the Year, whilst Rema is up for International Song of the Year for his UK Top 5 single ‘Calm Down’. They join the already-announced Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue and RAYE for what is the UK’s biggest night in music. Further performances to be revealed over the coming weeks in the lead up to the main show.

Jungle said: “It’s an honour for us to be asked to perform at this year's BRIT Awards. We’re really excited to be part of such an amazing showcase for British music.”

Rema said: “I am honoured to be returning to The O2 to perform at The BRIT Awards this year.”

With a passion for creating a genre-blurring mix of timeless disco, hip-hop, funk and future-facing production with an affinity for live instrumentation, Jungle has a cultivated, unique sound. Their recent Top 3 album ‘Volcano’ builds upon the success of their critically-acclaimed ‘Loving in Stereo’ (2021), and pushes the boundaries of their sound, creating an uplifting and free-spirited sound. Alongside their music, Jungle’s music videos, and visual universe more widely, have been a key part of their identity. Through their use of vibrant choreography and beautiful, engaging cinematography, Jungle’s iconic music videos have gained hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. The group  will play their biggest UK headline show to date at The O2, London, on September 12th.

Benin City's Rema has ascended to global superstar status, releasing banger after banger and delivering 5* performances night after night. In 2023, Rema visited close to twenty-five European countries and countless States across The US to perform, and he topped off the year with a sold-out headline show at The O2 Arena, his biggest concert to date. He became the first African artist to have a billion streaming song on Spotify, won the first ever ‘Best Afrobeats’ award at the MTV VMAs and is now the longest-charting African artist in Billboard Top 100, as well receiving an entry in the Guinness Book Of World Records for being the first artist to hit No.1 in the MENA charts. 'Calm Down' was the soundtrack of 2023, climbing to No.4 in the UK's Official Charts, No.5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has gone Gold once, Diamond six times and Platinum nine times across the globe.
