Tate McRae added to The BRITs 2024 line up

With just over a week to go, The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard today confirms the eighth and final performer for this year’s ceremony, as pop idol Tate McRae. This exciting booking locks in the lineup for The BRITs 2024, with exclusive performances confirmed for the UK’s biggest night in music from Tate along with Becky Hill X Chase & Status, Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa, Jungle, Kylie Minogue, RAYE and Rema.

Tate is nominated in International Song of the Year for her UK Top 3 and US Billboard Global 200 #1 hit single ‘greedy’.

Tate said: “I’m so excited to be returning to London for my first BRIT Awards! It is the biggest honour to be performing on the iconic BRITs stage. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”

Canadian native singer/songwriter/dancer Tate McRae has become the artist to watch with over 8.4 billion career streams, over 945 million video views, and multiple #1 Top 40 hits. She’s received countless accolades including nominations for two Billboard Music Awards, an MTV VMA Award, multiple People’s Choice Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards and JUNO Awards among others. 

Her #1 RIAA certified 3x Platinum single “you broke me first” has amassed over 2 billion streams since its release in 2020. She’s collaborated with various artists including Regard & Troye Sivan on their #1 dance hit “You,” along with Khalid on their track “working,” Tiësto’s “10:35” and Jeremy Zucker on her viral single “that way.” Tate released her debut album in 2022, i used to think i could fly which landed at #1 on Spotify’s Global Top Albums Debut Chart, charted in the Top 10 in multiple countries upon release and has garnered over 1.5 billion streams to date. Featuring RIAA certified Platinum single “she’s all i wanna be” and certified Gold track “feel like shit,” the album has all-star writing collaborators and producers including Greg Kurstin, Finneas, Charlie Puth, Alexander 23, Blake Slatkin, and more. 
 
Her highly anticipated sophomore album THINK LATER debuted at #4 on Billboard’s album chart and has garnered over 1.8 billion streams worldwide. The hypnotic lead single “greedy” earned the star #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, Global Excl. US chart and Spotify’s Global chart and hit #1 at Top 40 radio. 
 
In April, Tate will embark on her global ‘THINK LATER TOUR’ spanning 53-dates throughout Europe, UK, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

Nominations for the 2024 BRIT Awards were announced last month, with nominees including Arlo Parks, Blur, Calvin Harris, Central Cee, Dave, Dua Lipa, Fred again.., Jessie Ware, J Hus, Little Simz, Olivia Dean, Mahalia, PinkPantheress, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, RAYE, The Rolling Stones, SZA, Taylor Swift, Young Fathers.

The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard will take place on Saturday 2nd March -  once again in a primetime weekend slot - broadcast live from 8.30pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player  - from The O2 arena, hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp. Yinka Bokinni and Jack Saunders will be presenting The BRITs’ Red Carpet for ITV2 and The BRITs’ Aftershow for ITVX.
